The Merak makes the perfect all around racing bike. Some aero tube shaping and internal cable routing makes for a rocket on the flats. A super-light full carbon frame and fork help you sail up mountain passes, while the fast and direct steering of pure Italian geometry paired with a tapered steerer and wide fork blades, make for a bike that isn’t at all afraid to go downhill. The matte black finish is understated yet when perfectly paired with red dropouts and forktips, plus red highlights on the other components we selected, you have a racing machine that both rides well and looks stunning!

Built-up with Campagnolo 11-speed components

The Campagnolo Chorus groupset is the best most versatile Campagnolo has to offer. Race ready yet perfectly suited for everyday miles, the Chorus groupset is a serious cyclist without the need for the pro team budget. “Sophisticated materials, extreme precision, Italian design and Campagnolo authenticity make this mechanical groupset the best choice towards building up a true racing bike.” 

Paired with deep section Full Carbon tubulars

What would a racing machine be without tubular wheels. For the ultimate in smoothness and lightness, only a tubular wheelset will do. The Miche SWR Full Carbon tubular wheelset completes this build perfectly. Slightly differential front and rear rim heights make for a fast wheelset that won’t knock you around in the cross-winds. Hand-built in Italy

The build is completed with Italian-made Modolo bars and stem and a Selle San Marco RegalE saddle. The full carbon frame, 100% built in Italy, also includes a proprietary De Rosa aero carbon seat post.
